EduServe requires every student to read and observe critical health and safety guidelines. While EduServe requires that all participants observe health and safety guidelines, the final responsibility for the personal health and safety of each student rests with each individual student. What students do while away from EduServe organized programs is their own responsibility and at their own risk. While each and every student is treated with respect and care, it is required that all participants abide by the guidelines in order to maximize long-term enjoyment of the programs.

EduServe/GlobaLearn International Educational Programs promotes an illicit drug-free, smoke-free, and alcohol-free student and staff environment, in which the good health of all participants can flourish.

Liability

EduServe/GlobaLearn Programs is responsible for making program arrangements, and its agents and representatives work competently to fulfill their responsibilities to each and all participants. Programs begin from U.S. departure or at the point of one’s joining the program abroad, if one has provided one’s own transport. Programs end with U.S. return, or on the final date of the program abroad, if one provides one’s own return transport. EduServe cannot be in any way responsible for acts beyond its control, such as "Acts of God," war, bad weather, strikes, and political or criminal violence. EduServe is not responsible for any personal injury nor property damage caused by airlines, railways, buses, hotels, colleges or universities, as well as thieves or criminals. Caution and personal responsibility are urged while traveling. In addition, one ought to stay alert at all times in public, without letting one’s caution adversely affect one’s enjoyment and appreciation of the sojourn.

Insurances

Personal health and travel insurance policies are advisable for all travelers, as those policies that may already be in effect for oneself at home may not apply in a foreign country. To offset any loss or illness, EduServe makes available an insurance package for such purposes. Required group coverage refund insurance is set forth in writing from the insurer and includes payments for medical, emergency assistance and evacuation, travel accident insurance, travel security coverage, baggage loss, lost document assistance/emergency cash transfer, program interruption insurance, and program cancellation insurance. Details with regard to the above insurance are subject to change. The insurer’s contract provides details.
